March was a HECTIC month. Getting into the swing of term one with a new team was exhausting. Which kind of affected everything else. I was also a month into being caffeine free, which is something I never thought I would say in my lifetime, but there it is.
Here’s how my goals went in March:
- Complete the A to Z reading challenge.
So I ended up only finishing 2 books in March and only one of them counts towards the A to Z challenge. So not a complete success, but also not a complete failure.
- Post at least 3 times a week.
100% successful on this! I feel like I’ve been really consistent with my posts! (although if theres anything you want me to post about let me know!)
- exercise 3 days a week.
This one was 50/50 I definitely went for walks at least 1-2 times a week, although coming into Easter it got disrupted a little bit!
- Read 30 books in 2018
According to Goodreads I’ve read 8 books which puts me 1 ahead of my goal of 30, I’ll take that as a win.
- Try one new recipe each week.
I think we were much better at this in February and will be better in April (we’ve already tried a new recipe) but in March to be honest I completely forgot about trying new recipes. To be honest it took all my energy to not order Ubereats every night.
- Practice positivity and optimism
I think overall this was a win. obviously there were days that were more difficult and i would feel more negative but I feel like I had more positive days that negative.
- Less technology and more reading before bed.
100% failing at this one. I feel like its one I really need to focus on prioritising.
Thats how my goals faired in March. I don’t think I went too bad but I’m also not congratulating myself on the progress because it could use some improvement.
Focusing on a better April!
Let me know how your 2018 goals are going? Or if you aren’t a yearly goals person whats something your working on at the moment?
