Goal Wrap Up: January 2019

Back at the goal wrap up but focussing on new goals for 2019! YAY!

So my goals for 2019 are:

  1. Read at least 45 books
  2. Drink 2L of water a day
  3. Build and follow a night routine
  4. buy less books
  5. Hit my savings goal
  6. Take everything as it comes

Okay, lets jump into how I actually went with achieving them.

With reading at least 45 books I am currently sitting at…

I’m a bit behind schedule (as Goodreads is so kindly telling me) but I feel like that was bound to happen taking on the Throne of Glass series.

I managed to drink 2L of water a day at the start of the month, but since I’ve been back at work I’ve been finding it more difficult. I’ve definitely been drinking more water than I was before so baby steps.

Night routine… I’ve really started to focus on making sure I’m taking of my make up each night as well as using a body oil or moisturiser all over after my shower. I’ve also been pretty good at making sure I use a mask 2 times a week as well as working out as soon as I get home! Yay, now just to keep it up for another 11 months.

I definitely haven’t bought less books. Enough said.

I’m really working to pay off some credit card debt before I start saving so that I’m staying in the positives. Almost there!

I’m trying to not get as stressed about things work related and focus on enjoying every day. Slowly, slowly.

Overall I think it was a really positive month for my goals! Can’t wait to keep ip up in February.
