Sophie Foster is on the run—but at least she’s not alone.

Her closest friends from the Lost Cities have gone with her to join the Black Swan. They still have doubts about the shadowy organization, but the only way to find answers is to start working with them. And as they settle into their new lives, they uncover secrets far bigger than anything they’d imagined.

But their enemies are far from done, and unleash a terrifying plague that threatens the safety of an entire species. Sophie and her friends fight with everything they have—with new allies joining them—but every choice has consequences. And trusting the wrong person could prove deadly.

In this game-changing fourth book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, Sophie must question everything to find a truth that will either save her world—or shatter it.

The Keeper of Lost Cities series is an utterly adorable one. Within the series we follow Sophie who discovers she is an Elf with extraordinary abilities and from book one chaos has ensued in a magical world filled with magnificent cities.

I’ve been completely enthralled with the development of these characters from their adventures at Foxfire to their abilities to see realities that some adults in the world are trying to ignore. These characters have all grown in confidence in themselves and each other and as this grows their abilities grow too.

There are some pretty important ideas explored in this point in the series. We’ve explored guilt multiple times in this series and in Neverseen we explore it again. We also explore the idea of people making choices that they believe is the best for their family even when to others it seems like a terrible decision. The importance of friendship is continually explored in the series as well as how to look at the world as grey as opposed to black and white.

I have been so engaged in this series from the get go. The settings are so magical and wondrous that all I want is more detail, more information and more exploration of these amazing cities. The description of every different location really grabs the reader and pulls them full force into this world.

I cannot wait to keep reading this expansive series. I honestly just want more and more of this world and these characters. Honestly you will both laugh out loud and cry or maybe that was just me!
